Gospel for Teens is a program of The Mama Foundation for the Arts located in Harlem at
149 West 126th Street
(Between 7th & Lenox)
Gospel for Teens is funded by the
New York Community Trust & JPMorgan Chase Foundation
Selected participants will learn music history and vocal techniques such as placement, breathing, harmony, pitch and control. Students will be encouraged to discover their personal artistic talent and expressions and build self confidence on stage and off. Gospel is an art form. We will celebrate the artand learn to sing from our hearts.
Students will learn a repertoire of gospel songs in preparation for end of semester performances.
Classes run from February 18 - May 13
